Calidus ran into the empty classroom, threw himself onto a table in the corner and lay there, curled up, shaking silently. He had been chased here by Slytherins. If he'd wanted to, he could have jinxed them all into oblivion - he was good at that sort of thing - but he hadn't dared. He just lay there, alone, but then heard the door open. He looked up, hoping it wasn't one of the Slytherins....

Casey entered the room. She saw a dude, curled up on a table and at that moment, she could have already guessed it was either something horrible happened or it was Slytherins. "You alright?" She asked in a low, gental voice as she walked up to him, sat on the table, and tried helping him sit up straight. She could feel him trembling.

Calidus looked up to see the girl walking in. "Not really," he said quietly, as she helped him up, "but it's nothing new, just Slytherins picking on me as normal..." He then said something about the Slytherins under his breath, so Casey probably hadn't heard. He turned away with bloodshot eyes, and saw his albino Eagle Owl flying towards the window. He got up and opened the window to let her in. "Hi, Ledpido," he said quietly, "a letter?" he said, taking the envelope from her feet.

Casey could have sworn she heard him say something about Slytherins but didn't quiet make it out so she ignored it. "Slytherins huh. Sounds like them." She said with a nod. She noticed something in the window and she peered at it, trying to figure out if it was an owl or an Eagle. She watched the boy walk over and let the bird in, taking the letter from it's feet. "Should I go or you don't mind me staying?" She asked. "In case?" She quickly added, remembering about the Slytherins. He should have his space right now so he could read but then again, a Slytherin might appear at the doorway, and perhaps smirking as usual.

Caldius shook his head. "It's fine if you want to stay," he said, then read the letter. His face drained of colour. "Oh no," he mumbled, "Sollers..." the letter read: Dear Cal, I'm sorry to have to tell you, but Sollers has fallen very ill. She is at St. Mungos's, so should recover soon. I'll keep writing, Dad

Casey decided it was best to stay. She sat used her wand to bring a chair so her legs wouldn't be swinging around. She heared him mumble something, a name perhaps, but couldn't quiet get it since he was a bit far from her. "Everything ok?" She asked, doubting her stupid question.

Calidus shook his head. "My little sister is ill... but I don't know what with," he said quietly. He was very fond of Sollers. He wished he could go to St. Mungo's to see her, but knew he could not. he stroked Lepido quietly, while writing a reply in his neat, slanting handwriting. Dear Dad, Thanks for telling me. Keep me informed please, and give Sollers my love, See you soon, Calidus He saled it, and gave it to Lepido, who took off out of the window and soared over the lake towards the horizon.

"Oh. I am so sorry to hear." Casey said with sympahy. She felt bad for him but felt that he was a bit luckier than her. Her sis is dead. Casey brushed some of her hair past her ear, remembering her sis. She pushed the memory aside, snapping back to reality.
