Amy watched as the two girls walked out with their new owls. She put the money in the cash register and sighed. She looked over at all the owls and they were all staring at her expectantly.
"I suppose you want me to feed you?" she said to them as she grabbed a bucket of feed from behind the counter.
The owls let out excited hoots and Amy laughed as she began to walk from cage to cage to give the owls their food. So far, today hadn't been that busy and she was somewhat greatful. On the other hand, she wouldn't have minded meeting some more new people.

Ron walked into the shop for owls. [] He needed some new feed for Pigwedion, and he was bored. He had gotten all his school supplies, and he and his family had been staying in the Leaky Cauldron until it was time for him and his sister to go back to Hogwarts.
"Hello?" he called out to the empty counter. He didn't notice the girl in the back feeding the owls... "I need some owl food... if I don't get any.... my owl'll starve!" he quickly said, hoping that would make the attendant come quicker... Talking about pets dyting usually made any pet store assistant come running.

[[Pretend I'm Amy, sorry, I don't want to switch accounts.]]
Glancing up suddenly, Amy noticed another red-headed boy come in. Pasting a grin on her face, she hoped he would be nice to her. Walking up to the front, she hastily picked up a bag of owl food on her way. "Hey, is this okay? It's the most basic package we have, but not cheapo. It's going to be 12 galleons for this five-pound bag. It's just regularly flavored, and not too many nutrients. Those come with more expensive prices. You can also have different flavors." She smiled again, waiting for him to answer. "I'm Amy, by the way." She thought she'd add that, because, obviously, she'd never met him before.
